Re:                  $2,000 Zonta Club of Bowling Green Area Scholarship Application for 2007-2008 Academic or Training Year

Date:              January 9, 2008

Zonta Club of Bowling Green Area established a scholarship for women ages 25 years or older, who are pursuing post-secondary schooling or training.  Your assistance is requested in helping our organization identify a 2008 award recipient.  Zonta will provide a maximum $2,000 scholarship for the 2008-2009 academic or training year.

We are inviting applications from women enrolled or wanting to enroll in educational training programs, technical training, colleges or universities.  Applicants must be residents of Wood County, Ohio, show financial need, and have earned a high school diploma or GED.

Enclosed are the required following forms, which are also available on our website (address listed below):

• Scholarship Information Form
• Scholarship Application Form
• Recommendation Form (two are enclosed as two are required from each applicant)

As noted directly above, each applicant will need to submit two completed Recommendation Forms.  All applications must be postmarked by March 16, 2008.
